About
My name is Christine Robitaille. I am an actor, vocal coach, acting coach, and director. Muskoka Film Camp started when I realized there weren’t many opportunities for young actors to build their reels and make connections, especially if they didn’t get started as a young child. I wanted to make opportunities for tweens and teens to get started in the industry, gain experience, knowledge, content for their reels, and learn how to navigate the industry. Muskoka Film Camp is designed for youth interested in acting, directing, writing, camera, lighting, and sound.

How It Works
Our next programming will be August 18th-22nd at Huntsville High School. Youth ages 8-18 from 9am-3:30pm.

Youth will select "cast" or "crew" when registering. Day One of camp will consist of auditioning cast and training crew for different jobs. We will select our cast and crew on Day One and continue with those jobs throughout the week. Day Two, Three, Four, and Five, we will work closely as a team, allowing youth responsibilities and creativity to shoot a short film. Youth will learn from industry professionals and be given the opportunity to fine tune their skills and interests in camera, lighting, sound, acting, and directing.

To register or for more information, please email muskokafilmcamp@gmail.com

Muskoka Film Camp is currently looking for short scripts written about youth, for youth. Please send your ideas to muskokafilmcamp@gmail.com.

As a parent I have to say I am so pleased with our decision to join MFC. My girls had a great time. They had fun, they met new and interesting people, all while learning so much about the movie making process. The camp definitely exceeded my expectations. It was extremely professional and well organized.
The program is inspiring my kids to learn more and write more even after the camp is done.

"Marlee had so much fun today. She was so excited to tell me about her day and all the amazing things happening at camp. Thanks for bringing this experience to town for our kids!"
